New to Mooring Whips

I've recently set up some mooring whips on the dock, but wanted to see if I did this right or need to make some corrections. Originally I had the front whip tied to the bow, but they were splayed out a little bit and I heard the only right was to use them was if they were perfectly straight off the dock.
So I set them up like this, but I'm worried about having one whip at the stern and one in the middle instead of the bow.
Am I doing this right? Id rather not move the mooring whip as space on the dock is limited with a jet-ski crane on the left in the beginning of the video.

Your tie offs are incorrect.
The way it currently is the boat can move FOR and AFT which will break the whips. You need more lines to keep the boat from moving

Ahhh thank you, I'll move those cleats out and give it a little less tension

Yep you need spring lines to prevent fore and aft movement..
