New to forum, need some info

Hi guys. I just joined the forum 5 mins ago with the hopes of learning a lot of information from here. I just bought my first boat last week. It's a 1998 Legend aluminum semi v 1648. It has had fan tails, an extension to the front deck, and a 18 gallon tank added to it through the years. I've already removed everything out of the hull except the steering cable. Here's my first question. Who makes legend boats? I haven't had any luck in this department. The reason I would like to know is because I need to get a motor for it, but the max horsepower sticker has been covered up by the fan tails. Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

I looked at their website before. None of their boats look even remotely like mine. I'll try to add some pictures of it from the day I got it.

Do you have the title to it with the manufacturers name and HIN on it?

If its a 1998, the 1st 3 letters of the HIN will decode to provide the brand.
