new to boating

hi my name is David i am getting ready to buy a boat its a 1979 glastron 165 with a 135 evinrude 2 stroke for 600$ seems to be a good deal to me needs seats recovered and floor needs replaced but i have a kind a dumb question how to i know if there is a chargeing system with the boat or do i need to charge the battery when i am done using the boat?

That outboard should have an alternator to charge your battery, David.

$600 seems to me like too much for a boat that needs so much work. Before you buy it I suggest you discuss it in the Boat Topics Forum.
