New thread on my son, THANK YOU

I just wanted to take a moment and say how amazing the iBoats family is. I made a post about my son leaving the military and not only did I get great ideas from others in the thread, I was inundated with private messages form retired military folks offering suggestions as well as offers to meet with him and talk about alternatives and to just be a sounding board for him.

If I haven?t said it lately, you folks are amazing!!!

I followed your previous thread and while it started well, I could tell that it was heading for closure if things went where they eventually did.

You are correct in your comment about the folks on these forums. It just goes to show why I joined...good info, good intentions from good people.

Best of luck to Bubba Jr with whatever his decision may be. And my thanks to him as well for keeping lots of nastiness elsewhere.

I never got to see the original thread, but having a son myself in the military, know that I wish him the absolute best of luck, and please tell him I said thanks and I'm proud of his service to our country.

This isn't a boating forum, it's a place filled with wonderful, diverse and truly special people who just happen to like boats.

Bubba you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers everyday. Every morning I pray for all our troops and those of our allies who are in harm's way and the families that wait, hope and pray for their safe return.

I hope your son see's this thread. I thank him from the bottom of my heart for his service.
