I have a 93' merc 115. The tach on the boat went bad so I bought a new Mercury tach. I looked on the old tach and the calibration was set to 12 pulses on the alternator. My new tach does not have that setting here is what it has<br />6P; 5P; 8C; 3P; 6C; 2P/4C<br />Where it is labled C=Cyl and P=pulses<br /><br />Which should I use and does Cyl mean cycles or cylinders.<br />Thanks for the help!<br />Chief
