I have a 1989 5.7L Alpha I with Thunderbolt IV ignition and trying to change the distributor sensor.
Part#: 87-892150Q02 has 3 wires GND, WHT/GRN, WHT/RED.
The original module has the two posts, one post has the WHT/GRN wire from the Shift Cutout Switch, and the WHt/GRN to the ICM.
Do I need to connect both of the WHT/GRN wire to the new module, or should I move the Shift Cutout Switch wire to the coil (-)?
Thanks
