In the outdrive gasket kit I got fro my alpha one, the two seals that go on the axle shaft (if that's what its called) are slightly thicker than the current ones. Is this how all new ones come or are they the wrong size? Worried I'll have a hard time getting the outdrive in with the new seals.

Thanks

the drive mounting kit should have the thick rubber ring that is GLUED into the housing, a water inlet O rind ,2 small O rings for the area under the gimbal bearing and maybe 1 for the middle of the inputshaft if so equipped.

Ayuh,..... The 2 under the gimbel bearing have been compressed by the bearing, of course they're thinner now,.....
