Not at my job you couldn't. There would be a stop work order and no work would resume untill there was a full incident investigation. If there was a resulting injury it would require an OSHA investigation. .........
My point is that a mishap like that is a huge deal even if nobody was hurt. If these were qualified operators than what went wrong??

I don't think that was in the US, based on what was said when it fell. And Yes it would take investigations and insurance co. and ...... to figure it all out.

I don't think the keel handled the drop to well, looked like the front strap was off well before the bow landed in the water, scraping the pier. Maybe they just let it drift out and sink.

Well, it was a little unconventional but non-the-less effective.

Got the boat in the water, seemingly unharmed .
