New Motor

We are looking for a new somewhat cheap motor ($200). We have found two we are looking at and was wondering how good they were.

Watersnake Venom SWET54-42 Trolling Motor
Minn Kota Endura C2 40-lb. Thrust Trolling Motor with 36" Shaft

Have no idea who makes a Watersnake but likely MinnKota or Motor Guide with a Watersnake label. My choice would be the MinnKota for the mere fact that parts are more readily available if needed. As with anything else, how good an item is depends on the care and use it has had. You can buy a brand new Minnkota tiller steer unit for a tick over $100.
