HI JUST GOT BOAT BACK FROM SHOP WITH NEW IMPELLER AND SEAL KIT. STARTS AND RUNS GREAT. WHEN IDLING THERE IS A FINE SPRAY COMING OUT OF HOLES. WHEN MOTOR IS FULL OUT THERE IS NO SPRAY BUT IT IS SPITTING OR POURING OUT GLOB LIKE AMOUNTS OF WATER, IS THIS NORMAL? I NOTICED SINCE DAY 1 FORCE MOTORS DON'T SPRAY THAT MUCH. IM WORRIED IF SOMETHING THE MARINA DID WRONG. IS THERE ANY WAY TO TELL IF I'M OVERHEATING THE ENGINE WITHOUT A TEMP GAUGE? ALSO WHAT IS THE MAX RPM FOR A 1993 50HP FORCE? AND WHAT IS THE IDEAL FULL THROTTLE RPM? IS IT VERY HARD TO INSTALL A TACH FOR THIS MOTOR? THANK YOU!

Water flow sounds normal.<br /><br />Should be a purple wire in the wire harness under the dash. This <br />your tach signal wire.<br />The hardest part of installation is drilling the hole in the dash.<br /><br />You should have a overheat temp sensor attached to the head of the motor.<br />Orange wire runs from sensor to the dash/controls, where it connects to a buzzer.<br />You can test the sensor for continuity, should be none. Then drop it in a pan of hot water, sensor should activate by the time the water reaches 170*. It should show continuity now.<br /><br />You can test the buzzer by applying 12v power to it.
