Yes just recently purchased a 1978 Drifter houseboat, first time owning a boat , it's 48 ft 13 ft wide two mercury V8 engines. I really need the blueprints or manual on it the previous owner left out alot wrong with it. If anyone could help really appreciate it. Patrick

Blueprints or a manual for the boat likely don't exist. Never did.

Individual components, maybe but that's a 46yr old boat many ( most?) OEM suppliers are probably defunct.

Get a service manual for the motor.

Many boat sellers are the worst

The bright side is that manuals, wiring diagrams, etc are available for the engines and drives. The rest probably never existed. Liken it to buying an almost 50 year old mobile home and trying to get plumbing and wiring diagrams for it. Some of the things such as plumbing fixtures, appliances may have been replaced several times over the years. This may end up as a learn on the job do it yourself project. Good luck.
