She floats and runs real well, we were very happy with our first test run after work. The choke stuck closed and fouled the plugs:redface: but we got it going again, then we were off. Luckily there werent too many on lookers that evening to get a good laugh at us as we were foating towards the rocks trying to get it fired. Its all good.:)
I put some silencer padding on the inside of the engine covers to silence it up more, it isnt loud I just felt like doing it.

P.S. sorry about the nova shot I pushed the wrong buttons:facepalm:

What motor ya got in that thing Gulfstreamer? The 5.0 liter in my '75 20 ftr is amazingly quiet, even without any insulation on the fiberglass dog house.

165hp Mercruiser and it really is quiet back there I just felt like doing it. I bet yours really goes with a 5.0 in it. I really love the way these boats feel out on the water.

5 more fishing trips down and she runs like a top. It gets treated to a nice vintage wooden steering wheel I found at a swap meet and a new cover also. Great boat:)

I went from the stock 190 hp 302 2bbl to the 5.0 roller cam with a holley 4bbl. I installed a '69 351 windsor regrind cam (for roller motor). It also has a 9.0:1 compression. It is almost too much power for the boat. Good thing I rebuilt my stringers. That thing runs like a striped *** ape.

Should still do that for many years to come~

Yep now we need to do a rain dance as the lakes are all closing due to drought. :( I use to wash my truck and for sure it would rain, but that isnt working anymore
