Nice, a break in the clouds is right, ominous looking storm all around. She looks great on the water! :thumb:

It felt great to finally get it on the water, if only for a quick test ride. 2 weeks of fussing and breaking and fixing to get it on the water for an hour LOL but it was all worth it, knowing everything works well and i feel it runs very nicely. I had a little water in the bilge when all was said and done, but not enough to kick on the pump or anything. I kind of expected that.
There's a lot more fussing and breaking and fixing to go yet, but I am enjoying it very much. Thanks to this forum! It's been invaluable so far and I have no doubt I'll rely on all the knowledge here again and again.

Hi, nice boat -- I myself lucked into a SS160 a few weeks ago and have been having a blast with it - a question on your tow bar -- I am looking for something like that ..... in the floor does it just screw or bolt into the plywood floor? or does it go through the plywood and attach to the aluminum somehow ? anyone know where to find something like that? cheers Bruce

The ski pylon attaches to a base on the floor. It looks like the base just mounts to the floor. It doesn't go all the way through. The support arms lock on to little balls mounted on the back gunwales.
