HI friends,after viewing iboats for about a year now ,I finally registered tonight!Ive always loved to fish and as I enter middle age (40),and the family grows up,Itook on a boat project and redid a 16 ft.bowrider to fish and tube with the family.While somewhat handy,it is with this very forum and the talented regulars that Ive learned vital infothat helped me along the way.For ex,I have a 16 ft ,1 inch ConQuest bow rider made in '88,(great shape by the way)with an evinrude 1987 evinrude 88 SPL,tilt,trim,prop that needs replacing.Ive replaced all coroded contacts,replaced flooring,seats,put in a fish finder, mounted a minn kota trolling motor,made new smoked lexan windshields and I never even got the boat wet yet!All this was done with you fine people here.Now I just need to get out on the water.Thanks for the time. Ahh ha Pinchmaster, so that was you lurking about these many months. I thought so.<br />Serious note: Isn't this a superb bb. I discovered it several months ago myself and try to spend some time here every evening. Howdy, Pinchmaster. Welcome aboard.<br /><br />Please don't refer to 40 as middle age. I have three daughters older than that and they are definitely NOT middle aged. I am middle aged. Just because I am a Great Granpa doesn't mean I am old enough to have middle aged daughters!<br /><br />You have arrived at late youth.
