I am in the process of putting a new deck on a scooter boat. I'm hoping someone here can help me with a couple questions.
First can I use PT ply wood and seal it with epoxy?
Second can I use screws to secure it with out it showing after applying non skid coat?
Third can I just but the ply wood up and use filler or do I need to finger joint it?
Fourth when I seal it what's the best epoxy to use with out glass if I'm putting a non skid citing on it?
And lastly what can I use as an adhesive for the bottom of the deck to the stringers

PT is great and all but it's wet and it'd need to dry a long time to not mess with your epoxying. If I went PT I'd probably just put whatever your top coating was gonna be on it. I did the deck in my boat with regular exterior ply and sealed it with epoxy from Clark Craft. I liked their dead simple 1:1 mixing ratio. After I installed it in the boat I went over the screws with epoxy. I butted the boards and went over the seams with some fiberglass cloth and more epoxy. My flooring is marine vinyl. After 7 years the seams and screws are still not visible under the vinyl. Remember epoxy isn't UV stable so you'll need to paint or cover it. I'd use PL Premium as the deck to stringer adhesive.

No need for PT plywood. A good Ext. Grade is all that's needed. Make sure and get Marine Grade epoxy. Make sure and get the edges coated really well. Use thickened epoxy on the seams. Predrill ALL screw holes and then coat the screws and the holes with Epoxy. Counter sink them. Fill the countersunk screw holes with thickened epoxy. Use sawdust from your sander to thicken the epoxy. Apply 2-3 coats. Put your anti-skid material in the last coat of epoxy. Paint the deck with a good 2 part paint. Use the thickened epoxy to glue the deck to the stringers along with the screws.

That really helps guys! Thank you! I was a little confused on how to use epoxy as the glue and too full the holes but mixing it with dust makes sence. Once I get further along I'll post some pictures and you guys can tell me what you think.
