I have some leftover outdoor carpet that is pretty nice (Nicer than the carpet in my boat...) I am not ready to pull up the old carpet and do a redo but I was going to cut sections and attach them to the floor so I can pull them out easily and wash them off, (dip in the lake and get all the sand out while on a trip, etc...). I was thinking about using snaps but recently read online that it might be easier to just use a velcro system.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to put velcro down on top of old carpet? Or should I just stick with drilling some snaps into the floor?
Thanks!!
