Kind of late asking that question AFTER you have bought it!! Be certain to properly check out the motor and the impellar AND the condition of the boat transom and stringer's.
So I am guessing you did not water test the boat???
J, how 'bout some pics so we can see your acquisition. Any soft spots on the sole (floor). Tilt the motor up and hang from the lower unit. Does the transom flex when you put your weight on it? When and what are the recent maintenance details (impeller replacement, water pump housing, poppit valve, carb rebuild, fuel pump rebuild, etc.). How does the motor perform overall?
