Re: new boat
Could you give us some more info? How many people, where do you intend to use the boat, women or small children that need a head and a place to get out of the sun? The more info you provide, the better info you will get.
One of the most important things to do first is to find the best service provider in the area. Having a good dealer with good certified mechanics will help you decide what motor manufacture to go with. I know we are all loyal to a certian brand, but to be honest, they all make excelent products. I would try to stick with an outboard for saltwater. Try to find a pre-rig boat to save some money. Buying seperate will cost you big extra bucks that you don't need to spend.
With the little info provided, I would say for now go with a dual console or w/a model with an outboard and a full fiberglass liner(no carpet) that has good dealer suport in your area.
