Interesting your current 19 footer weighs so much more than a new one. Did that include a trailer?

Agreed, it shows celebrity didn't produce a 195 model in 1995 and in 1995 you had to get go up to the 20 plus foot range to get to 3500lbs. I wonder what the op has?

You are in the "drivers seat" so to speak shopping for a boat this time of year. I would shop around including out of state, heck even Canada if the price is right. With the world at the touch of a keypad today a boat shopping road trip may be prudent. I would only be concerned about being able to get local service if you buy from a dealer not close to you. Those 50K boats that are last years stock sitting in showrooms and back lots of Marine dealers just kill their bottom line. They will even sell below dealers cost to mitigate inventory costs. I would be looking for slightly used. Many folks get into boating only to realize it isn't their cup if tea. Usually it's the guy that bought a 19 foot Bowrider and planned to take out 7 or 8 passengers and all their stuff. Good luck shopping.

No matter what your looking at you should put five of your fattest friends in them and go for a ride before signing. If your buying brand new your options are big. The specs of each boat could be exactly the same yet one might perform more to your liking. Myself I?d want which ever boat was the widest if your staying at the same length.
