New boat,need some info

Hi guys

Im about to buy a Bayliner Capri.The sales advert says that it is a Capri 185 1994 model but Im not sure that this is correct.I didn think they made the 185 with an outboard motor, I think it must be a capri 180.Am I correct?
Regarding the model year, The hull number of the boat is: BC4B59CRK990.Can anyone tell what model year it is from this number?

Call Bayliner at 360.435.8957, give them the hull # and they can tell you.

thanx.I tried calling them but couldnt get through.(I live in Norway)
Anyway, are there any things I should be aware of before bying this boat?The boat is way overpowered (Evinrude 225) and Im worried that this may have damaged the boat.I have read about rotting deck and transom but how do I see if this boat have these issues?I cant find any cracks ect in the transom or in the hull itself.

hello, well about the limited knowledge i have, i believe the last two digits of your hull ID # are the year of manufacturing, hence yours 90, means made in 1990 not a 1994. hope this helps
