New and improved problem

My girl and I went out to the river yesterday and had a blast, Ran great for a while, then it just lost power. As if I had completely lost one cyl.It would run crappy like that a while then come back for a few and then back to junky again. New gas and fuel cell, new filter, new plugs. Coils maybe? There are one per cyl. Thanks guys!

You need to be determine fuel or fire. Next trip out, squeeze the pirimer bulb and see if performance improves, evewn if only momentarily. If it does, it's fuel problem.<br /><br />To test your coil theory, switch the cylinders they supply,and see if the missing one moves.<br />But iether problem will cause the symptoms you described.<br />Sorry I can't narrow it down yet.

And as a little quick check ,look at your plug wires before you take it out next time. Any cracks ,gouges,bare spots?
