I understand it takes a 30 psi fuel regulator that sets on top of the cool fuel system. Does anyone have a part number for this I can’t find it

Sorry didn't realize you posted requesting the part number. I merged the threads to keep them together

Part number is 807952A1
That said I'm using 1999 to 2001 TBI because I don't have your serial number. Might have missed it

Looked back at the regulator that I ordered and it’s the same part number you gave me. Could anything else cause it to have high fuel pressure

The Reg screen, but you said it's new and came with new Reg

Partial collapsed fuel return line

There is a Reg in the TB but that should have no effect on pressure because if Reg releases any pressure it has no place to go. Most TB Reg's are just to dampen fuel pump pulses

Only other thing is if your gauge is off

You can bench test the new Reg

Not sure but ima bypass the factory fuel regulator and put a adjustable one on it so I can make sure it has 30psi. I do know the motor is running rich

You can do that, but could be the Reg you have is not set at 30.
Installing another Reg to control the first just means more issues, but it's your boat
