Hey All - Haven't been here for a hot minute but had a couple of Qs. I've owned a Lowrance LCX-113 on my dash for about 7-8 years now. Works great, no issues. I just picked up a 112 that I'm going to put up front and I would like to network them together for a couple of reasons. mostly to see my waypoints on the front unit. Been twisting my 113 around for far too long.
I know they can be networked together but I'm wondering what data can be shared between the two units. I know waypoints can be, right??
Can the map data from the SD card in the 113 be shared with the 112? (I'm guessing not but maybe??)
The GPS puck can be shared over the network right?
Is there a procured list of things that can/cannot be shared over the network?
Attached is a crude drawing of how I believe the network needs to be hooked up. What's in black is what I have already hooked up and it's functioning. The gray is what I intend to hook up yet, assuming it's correct.
