Needle valve seats availability?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to get needle valve seats for a 1992 150 hp Force? The middle carburetor seems to spit gas out of the overflow sometimes. I have checked the float adjustment and soaked and blew them out twice. It idles smoothly and runs smoothly up to 1200 or so rpm then rough from there to 2000 rpm. When I hit the throttle to full throttle it doesn’t hesitate and gets up on plane fast. Sometimes you need to run at that midrange speed though. I so far have not found a needle valve seat available. Or maybe I have some other issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I have no trouble finding the needle, but the seat is always listed as no longer available?

When priming the fuel bulb hard till fully firm, is there fuel spillage going on that carb. Check that the needle float is adjusted to factory specs, the needle is sharp pointy looking and the needle's valve is impeccable clean and shiny, inspect with a flashlight to check that condition.

If the seat is extremely gunked the needle won't fully close as it should, as it's NLA the only option is to micro polish it with toothpaste. Get a sushi wooden stick, roll a piece of cotton on tip, moisten it in water, add a good amount of toothpaste, insert stick inside the valve and while holding the stick between both palms micropolish it turning it CW-CCW as if polishing valves on a motor head, repeat same procedure installing a new rolled cotton on tip till comes out pure white.

That cleaning procedure works spot on as long the seat is not pitted, with unven surface. If all went well should have no more carb's fuel spills whatsoever, check to confirm...

Post a close up pic of the needle.

The needle/seat: they come two ways.
#1 the seat has a tiny o-ring (might be found at Granger)and a solid needle.
#2 the seat is solid brass and the needle has a soft rubber tip.

Is that seat removable? It doesn't really look like it.
Some are pressed in and trying to remove it can break the soft pot metal
that makes up the bowl.

The float: most I've seen are brass. They sell a plastic replacement,JUNK.
Check the brass for leaks?

Thanks for the reply, when I pulled the carbs again I found a few small black specks on the seat of the carb that was overflowing. After cleaning out the seat and polishing like you said it did not overflow anymore. I think I better replace the lines after the in-line fuel filter to prevent small pieces of the inside of the fuel line from getting into the carburetor’s!
