Need to know value twin OMC's

New to Forum....Looks like very imformative site....
Trying to find out value of twin 175 OMC ( 351 ford) with cobra stern drives...1988 boat had only 200 hrs. when it caught fire mid-ship on port side hasn't been back in water since ( 1992) both motors are complete...stern drives are tight....been talking to detroit area salvage yard...they offere $3500 and they'll dispose of hull....Lots of expensive parts there....is their offer a little light?

Sounds reasonable to me, unless you want to disassemble them & part them out & get rid of the hull....

That's a pretty good offer IMHO...for the whole mess....

You could probably get about 1500-1800 (each) for "good tight" Cobras. and maybe 200-300 for each good condition gimble/transom mount.

Engines, manifolds, shift plate, ESAs, etcs could net you several hundred more.
