I found a ruff spot on this boat I bought a few weeks ago. It appears to be above the floor line on the outside about 3 feet up from the stern. Its part of the side wall and someone had it taped off so rain wouldn't get in. Its dry but the situation is this. It's about the size of two quarters, and is like the outer coat of glass has been chipped away to reveal the fiberglass strands, it isn't even a sixteenth deep and everything is dry and good were it is, I was able to chip away some outer coating if that's what it is called. It will be under the water line.
