Need some websites

I have recently bought a boat. the title says that it is a 1976 aristocraft, and has a 40 horse johnson super quiet, and I have another johnson 5 horse sea horse. I want to find out what year the boat is, because I think the title is wrong and it is a 1953. So I need some web sites that has information on old boats and motors, I want to find out the years and what ever els I can find. Thanks

they got a new website up man. very cool. yer gonna like it....got me some info from it i didn't have either. has a phone number too......yep, ya can still contact aristocraft.....
i think yer title is wrong too. if its a 76 it'll have a hin. mines stamped into the hull right above the drive. last two digets are the year.
since ya got an ob. it's gotta be older that 68 i think. as aristocraft didn't make a ob in 76 only the ninteen model........
