Need some info on CDI 2 Evinrude/Jonhson

Hello all
I need some infos according to CDI2

ref CDI2 : 2581-926 or 18-5758 or 9-25005 or 113-2453 for a Evinrude/Jonhson engine 2 strokes ( 9.9 HP to 25/30 HP....)

I am looking for :
1 - electronic schematic for one item ( in fact all are the same - only the manufacturer is different...)
2 - the data sheet for the SCR compoment (??) : ref written on it : RCA / HYS 7752 - with a case TO5 or so..
in order to understand how the CDI2 run and to repair mine...( for spare)

I find nothing in the web....

They are normally encased in so much epoxy that you cant open them up to repair them. Manufactures call it protecting it from the environment, i would say they arent upset that it stops people doing what you want to do

Ive tried it myself and the epoxy is just too difficult to remove and not damage the electronics further but if you have a technique to do that then im all ears.

i have openned mine with cutter and dremel and little knife "x acto". It is not so difficult but ask time and we must work carefully...
In fact i need the schematic to undestand how this CDI run ... I can follow the printed circuit but too difficult to redraw a the schematic...
Some components are mysterious...and old... ( in my CDI 1980......)
So some more help ?..

wow i didnt think that could be done, i thought everything would be too caked in the epoxy.
Ive never ever come across a schematic for them, i suppose its mostly because people cant get past the epoxy and no surprises the manufacturers keep it quiet.
Interested to see a photo if you can
Any obvious component looking burnt out?
What symptom was it causing on the motor that lead to you replacing it?

Yes some photos are possible .. coming soon...
About component i don't know exactly because i have not the electrical schematic... I think diodes ( but all are tested good..) or the 2 thyristors . I can follow the tracks on the printed circuit board but with difficulties....and it seen strange .../ some components are not identified well.....
symptom : no spark on plug ... I exchange the CDI and all is running ... but I would like to know exactly why component(s) in the CDI became out of order...and also to increase my knowledge...
