Well today i went and looked at a boat that i thought was nice , i refused to buy it , then i came into this situation , i can buy a boat that needs some work , Cheap with trailer . the add read the floor and chair stands were rotting and the transom is soft i assume rotting too , its a fiberglass boat . is it a big job to replace floor and fix transom ? i can have this for 300.00 someone please tell me what u think . is it worth it ? or is the floor and transom too much work for what it is worth . pics below 23833896_640.jpg23833905_640.jpg23833916_640.jpg23833919_640.jpg23833922_640.jpg

a transom stringers and floor is 2500 to replace do it your self, between 3 and 6 for pro.

Looks like a money pit, so this would be a labor of love, more than a wise financial decision. . .

. . . do you love it? If not, keep looking.

Timing wise, you would not be launching this boat until next year, possibly, with all the work to be done. Depends on how much time you have for it.

In it's current condition that boat is not worth $300. It's worth, "I'll take it so you don't have to pay to dump the hull." Don't pay a penny for that boat (IMHO).

Its not a bad looking hull, how ever their spot on it takes hours and hours of work and 2000.00 plus dollars in materials to rebuild a floor, stringers and transom.
