Need service manual for 40hp Mercury

I've just about giving up on trying to find a service manual for this motor. I did all the cross reference online, downloaded multiple PDFs but that only confused me more. Called a mercury dealer and they said only thing they could bring up was it was a 40hp but couldn't tell me the year. They couldn't even find a service manual part number so I could order it.

Can anyone point me to an service manual for serial number 0G138592

Further more, I just wondered what year the motor is.

A 1995 model.-----There should be no issue in finding a manual !!----For a 2 cylinder or 4 cylinder motor.

Yeah but.... The only ones that are coming up are either wrong serial number, wrong serial sequence or for 4 stroke. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Did you go to the only legal place for a manual.
