Aerosil:Resin:Milled fibers Some call for glass bubbles, but I didn't use them. Also, instead of milled fibers, I used chopped up CSM. Basically the same thing, just longer fibers. Then catalyze with MEKP9. ONDRVR broke down the cat ratios in my thread, "1986 Skeeter Resto." Mix the ingredients very well, then catalyze. An old beater in a drill works well (taken from oops! 'hull' thread), unless you are using long glass fibers.

I'm not sure if PB is the right application here. You will have 10 to 12 minutes max to work. I think PL may give the working time you need.

On Second reading, do you mean your transom is curved? Warped and curved are two different things. Curved is ok, Warped NOT ok. PL can be used but, and this is my opinion only, I believe resin peanut butter, especially EPOXY peanut butter, provides a much stonger bond especially if you grind the outer skin to fresh glass.

Pics of your transom work would sure be nice!!!!

I'm just sayin...:D

Thickened poly resin cures very fast compared to straight poly resin,
I wouldn't want to use it if theres a problem with alignment.
