Any advice to solve my problem?
I have a Mercury 175 Black Max 1995 with rpm problem.
I was running at 5200rpm suddenly the motor started to ?jump? and acting as an engine with out sufficient amount of fuel. When I reduced the throttle to 1000rpm the motor running fine. But now it is impossibly to get more then >=<3600 rpm. And the boat can`t level out. If I try to push the engine it will just jerk.
1. Spark OK.
2. Compression OK
3. Changed all fuel filter, pump pressure 40psi, all six fuel nozzle flow 248-250cc.
Fuel system OK.
4. Stator tested by service OK.
Any suggestions ?
