I'm no Merc mechanic.....but....<br /><br />Maybe I'm old fashioned, but until I prove that the switch boxes are getting 'charge' and 'trigger' signals, I wouldn't change em. They are just too dam expensive and non-returnable to take that chance. Remember the golden rule!! First, give the pack what it needs.(signals, grounds and coil connections) If it still don't work, then and only then change it....<br /><br /><br />(just my humble OP) :(

Thank to all!!!<br /><br />GUESS WHAT IT WAS ???<br /><br />DANG POWER PACKS, SWITCH BOXES AS MERCUREY CALLS THEM... REPLACED BOTH AT A WHAAAAPPING<br />$320.00 AND RUNS BETTER THEN WHEN I GOT HER. AGAIN I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL FOR INPUT. <br /><br />now the dang steering froze up, LOL, have it out now and will have replaced by tomarrow morning! :p

Rock $320 a lot better than $4000-$5000 keep it running !!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is chum, but all together with everthing I did replace, 806.00 but she's running real good man, got steering cable done tonight. Now it's supposed to get cold for a couple of days, hope it don't chill the water off any more then it is.
