need mercury 150 lower unit info

i have a 1982 2.0 liter 150. i need to know what gear ratio it is. i assume it is a small gear case because the prop for my v4 evinrude would fit if the splines were the same. i owned an 1988 2.0 liter 150 also and the prop i used on it is to large. spline the same but barrel of prop to large.

If you have the Xr-4 gearcase(4.25 dia) it is a 1.78 ratio. Like your avatar, looks like the pic I posted on S&F

thanks. it might be that case cause the motor was rebuilt recently and it looks kinda pieced together. mismatched colors on motor. some silver like mariner.
