i've had new impealer installed. by a good mechinic. he water tested in at the shop and carried to the lake and tested it. water pressure was fine and peeing fine. i ran it about 20 miles sence work was done. now it was running and slowly quit. trolled back to trailer. at home with water hose it still overheating. removed pop it valve. turned motor over water was pouring out. replaced pop it vavle. water is come out of the pop it valve hole. very littile to no water comeing out of pee hole. could there be a blockege some where else? all hoses and clamps have been replaced. 91 150merc xr4.

remove the tell tale and disconct it from where it leads to flush that line it,s more than likely clogged also if your water line runs through the fuelpump you may have to take it off and reem the line with a clothes hanger I had to do that it was solid crap all the way through. the thermostat may be bad remove or replace it. I removed mine 40 HP 2 cyl 2 cycle. if the thermostat id NG it will overheat. and you will get no flow i,ve seen brand new thermostats that wher NG

as for water coming ot the pop it it has a tear in it you can get a rebuild kit or simply do like I did get a small self taping screw and screw it in the popit hole
