I wonder if that could be P-35, 1927 8Hp. A P-65 is a 1933 21.4Hp. That's the closest I could find. There are Ps, PAs, PEs, POs and PRs, but I didn't find PS. Value depends on completeness and restorability.

welcome to iboats. try licking your thump and wipe it over the number, and with a flash light, verify the number. i've found that helps. show us some pictures.

load your pictures to photobucket, then clik the small box under the pictures you want to post, go to the bottom of the page, clik generate HTLM. it will go to another page, about the 3rd section down it will say thumb nails for message boards, clik the box, and copy. then when posting in the forum, at the end of the post just paste the HTML, and click add reply. this is the easiest way to post pictures.

The motor sure looks like a P-35... Not big enough to be a P-65...

The Admiral is right on with those old Johnson model numbers...so that S is either a number or some sort of special designation. I would try the guys on the Ask A Member board at www.aomci.org
If they don't know it must be a CIA Johnson...made for stealth missions.
