Need info on Offshore, West coast fishing.

I live in Idaho and own a 21' alluminum Jet boat. I would really like to do some off- shore fishing in Washington, Oregon or Northern California. I have fished Cabo San Lucas and enjoyed it. I am sure the fishing is different here but less expensive for me. Any suggestions on where to find info on this?? Does anyone know where, how to fish this reigon?
