I just purchased my first boat. Its an older 16' runabout and it has a 115hp Evinrude. It seems to run great with the throttle opened up. It seems to load up if idleing, like to load it, and will die sometimes. I noticed a knob on the front left side of the motor.Opposite side of the choke pull tab. The knob rotates a lever on the front side of the air box thing. What is this for? Also, what oil and rpm should I run it at to be safe? I used Lubrimatic TCW3 at 50:1 the other day and cruised at 4,000 RPM. OK??? Thanks for any help and info..
