Hello all,

i purchased a project boat a while back and am having some trouble finding and info on it. The Serial # on it is GLA 621340776- 1977 Model. I’m wondering what model/style it is. I think it’s a beau jack? I didn’t know if there were any manuals/blueprints of it anywhere. Thanks!

They don't put the model into the Hull Identification Number. If you were to post a pictures of the whole boat maybe someone could identify it.

Ok. It’s an HP-154. Anybody know where I could get some restoration ideas of guidance? I’m posting in motor forum for the 80hp 850 Mercury thunderbolt that is attached. Not sure if it was factory or out it at a later date. Thanks all!

photo upload tutorial in the rules and guidelines forums.

file must be less than 700k, however 400k works best.

email the files to yourself, reduce in size to 25%

then they will upload

Here are a few pics of the boat! This will be a full restore to best of my abilities anyway. I’ve already done most of the electrical rewiring on the bow. I feel like I’m ready to go ahead with the flooring and reinforcing the spindle seat. The wood underneath was rotten. Then new carpet and maybe a polish. I’ve seen a few posts on here with guys doing the exact same boat and quit half way through or sell it off and there aren’t many step by step post on this model that I could find. I’m gonna do everything in my power to keep everyone updated! I’ll just continue on this thread unless a mod tells me otherwise. Lol. Ok guys here we go! Hope your as excited as I am!

I found these spots as I was cleaning it out. What exactly are the stringers? I’ve heard this term a lot but not exactly sure.

This is the starboard stern side where the trim motor and solenoid mount. The wood is falling apart here also. I believe I could maybe bond a fresh piece of wood with some fiberglass? Thanks!
