Need help

I have a Suzuki dt6 outboard, the guy I bought it from says he put a new impeller in and still no water at tell tale, I took it apart and it is new so I put it in a barrel I get water at full speed none at idle or slow speed can anyone help

I don't work on those really but I had one. Same thing. It ended up being a rotten pickup tube from the pump. Had to take the power head off just to get to it. PITA.....

Had this with my Yamaha make sure that nothing is in the pump and check the pick up line

Thanks for the response didn’t even think to look up the tube I blew a bit of air threw n didn’t think twice
