Thanks for reading, I am new to boats and have recently purchased my first one...I need some assistance regarding locating a through exhaust hub for a stainless steel propeller I recently purchased. I have a 1988 MAXUM with 85 HP force MOTOR. I am looking for a hub to fit the prop and have not had much luck searching the web so far. The prop is a 13 3/4x15P and the closest Michigan number I guess is #73002 ssc-315c ......If anyone can assist in where I may find a hub to fit this I would greatly appreciate it. I am also looking for an impeller for the 85 hp Force motor also that I am having difficulty locating...thanks again for any help you can offer

We will need the serial number off the transom bracket or motor to find the correct impeller. Also, what kind (Brand) of prop did you get?

I have to admit I am a bit lost on this one. If you have a michigan prop, it has through-hub exhaust already. What exactly do you mean by hub? Are you referring to a spacer? For example, a Michigan prop would have a number like 073008 or something like that.

Propeller Type: Outboard
Manufacturer : FORCE, CHRYSLER, U.S. MARINE
HP / Model : 85 HP SINGLE EXHAUST UNITS
Year : 1988-1989
Boat Size : 16'-20' BOATS - ALL LOADS, SKIBOATS
Material : STAINLESS STEEL
#073008

web page Water Pump Kit # 75

Re: Need help with impeller and hub PLEEEASE :)

sorry that I am an idiot when it comes to boats so far, but i AM learning alot from this forum, you guys/gals are a great wealth of info :)

I need the guts on the inside of the prop. When I received the prop, it has a BIG hole in the middle with nothing there, when I look at the prop on the boat now, it looks like there is a "bearing or spindle assembly " that makes the prop sit tight on the shaft. Right now if I were to put it on, It would be real, real loose with gaps on each side of 1/2 inch...I hope i am making sense to someone, sorry
