Need help with CMC actuator

Hi all. Newby here, I need some help with a new (to me) CMC jack plate actuator. Someone before me out of curiosity took the pump apart and I am trying to reassemble. CMC kindly sent me a blow up but will not help me technically.
Has anyone had this actuator apart? The one I am working on is brand new, never installed.
Where do the 2 springs go?
It looks like the check balls can only go in one position but it does not look like the springs hold them on thier seats as there is no room to bolt the cover on?
Is there only 2 check balls?

sorry Dave, no idea. seeing it is an aftermarket item. my best guess is the take it to a hydrolics shop. they work on hydrolic pumps all the time.

Thanks for the reply.
I have a ton of experiance with hydraulics and this is a very simple pump.
But without a schematic it is a pain. I was really hoping someone has had experiance and can direct me to where the springs go?
Has anyone had one of these apart?
It will really be a shame to have to buy a new pump just to figure out where the springs go?
