Hello,
You'll have to forgive me- I'm most certainly a novice here but sincerely want to get my motor running as it should! :)
I just had the carbs cleaned in this motor. While it does run better than it did previously, it still is not running as it should. It starts up great, but doesn't want to stay running. You can play with the choke and it will run better momentarily, but eventually wants to kill. At wide open throttle, it's barely moving.
I guess I'd like to hear some places to start other than cleaning the carbs. Give me some ideas of things to look at/try so I can get to the bottom of this!
TIA

well you did not want to hear you need to clean the carbs better and clean/replace the fuel lines and pump to keep more trash hiding in there from hitting the cleaned carbs, so not much else can be recommended

Yep. What part of my post made you think that I wasn't open to any suggestions keeping in mind that I had already paid to have my carbs cleaned?? Thank you though for that tidbit of advice, very much appreciated. :)

There are plenty of good people on this forum ready to donate their time (for free) to help those willing to provide all the information needed to diagnose a problem over the internet. You might want to direct your anger towards the shop that took your money without repairing the problem.

This is what made me think you did not want to hear clean carbs

Did you talk to the people that cleaned the carbs and tell them it did not fix the motor?
Or did you just tell them to clean carbs without telling them to troubleshoot and fix the motor?
