Need help to identify this Evinrude.

could anyone tell me the year and horse power of this outboard. The name tag was missing from it. I could get some number on the block.

Those pictures are no help at all.-------Post some pictures of the cowling if original.

Or at least back off with the camera so we can get some kind of an idea what we are looking at.
That motor was made in Canada. That's all I know for now

The outboard was taken apart when I got it. I try to figure out how to put it back. The piston is 3” dia.

A mid 70's model 50 / 55 HP.-----But pictures of the cowling if original will pinpoint the year in seconds..-----Any idea why it was taken apart ?

I guess it is 1974/1975. The motor took apart by late father of the current seller for the repair so she has no clue of the motor.

Another KIJIJI special in Ontario.----If Electric shift it be a 1971 ( most likely ) or 72 model.---Post pictures of lower unit.-----Or post pictures of shift linkages on side of block.----Or control box. -----Is there a big yellow plug on the wiring harness ?
