Need help on a 470 Mercruiser

I need a wire diagram for my 1979 century wcm470 with a Mercruiser engine 224 cid, if any one can tell me how to track the coil to the power source.I'm not getting any power to the coil.

Viper, my manual shows the power for the ignition coil + comes from the " I " side if the starter solenoid. It is a Tan colored wire.<br /><br />Jack

Clymer manual has excellent diagram for this....sorry I don't have diagram available. May someone else does, or maybe you'll want to invest $30.
