need help, new to boats

i have searched and can not find what im looking for, i got this boat for free and as I am finding out, you get nothing for free. the boat i got is a 1976 silverline nantucket 22vht from what the po told me it just needs a 351w. i thought cool, got a 351w for cheap, and here is where the problems began. the motor is out of a van, so i figured ill just rebuild it with the marine parts that came with the boat, the problem is i dont know which way the motor should turn. how do i find out? ive been looking at kits online, just dont know if i need a regular or reverse rebuild kit. any help would be great!!

you will have to look and see what if your out drive is a LH or RH rotation and go from there

Ayuh,... Your motor is the Standard lefthanded motor...

ALL Mercruiser IO motors are LH rotation. As viewed looking at the flywheel.
