My buddy's grandfather has had this boat since the 70's and can remember going fishing with him. He passed in the early 2000's and the boat has been inside the basement. It has come time for him to sell the boat but has no idea on the manufacture of this beauty. Ill enclose a few pictures and I really appreciate all the help.

Be safe

I have several other pictures if needed. please just ask, I can only upload a couple

make sure your buddy gets the paperwork squared away. since it is coming from his grandfathers estate, it should be as easy in TN as a signed BOS, a copy of the registration and maybe additional paperwork for the estate.

I don't know if Lone Star copied TMs blue prints or vice versa but the two did have very similar aluminum hull designs.

That boat is so homely looking it's beautiful. Hopefully the future owner will appreciate it being a classic and respect it if he does any restoration.

The rear fins also give it away as a Texas Maid, square-ish compared to LoneStars, sort of similar,.but completely different.

The Texas Maid fins look like an after thought addon, IMO.

Find a Lone Star with 3 portholes per side. Or any portholes.
