Need help finding year of Chrysler

Hi,<br /> I have just bought a Chrysler 4 hp model# 4289F<br />How would I tell the year for parts? The SN is missing.<br />Thanks guys.<br />

Hi flfisher<br />Look closely at your model #. Could it be 42B9F? If so then it is a 1979. The B in the model# Is for Barrie, Ontario, Canada. An H in the same spot would be for Hartford, Wisconsin,U.S.A.
