What are the issues with your motor?-----Most shops now use a dynamometer and test props are not easy to find.
The issue at the end of last year was the engine would not idle when warm. I have found that at least one cylinder clearly had bad reeds. So, I replaced all reeds and intake gaskets. I am hoping that the problem is fixed. But, I want to test it under load before I put it on the water.
Also, I picked up a spare motor that is exactly the same . I was told that the spare motor runs, but doesn't run well. I didn't pay much for the second motor. I figured that if I can not use it as a spare, I can use it for parts.
Being that I now have 2 of these Johnsons, I figured that a test prop. would be a good investment. I already have a tank.
I am seeing test. props on ebay. But, I am not sure what will fit.
