Hello,
I just bought a used 2005 boat. There are a couple of areas where the marine carpet is coming up from the floor (I believe both areas are over aluminum lids).
The areas are small (2-3" diameter). I would just like to know if there is a recommended method for gluing it back down.
I was thinking of getting a syringe and filling it with contact adhesive - just injecting very small "drops" throughout the area (a very small amount so it does not saturate through to the top). Then, firmly press down with a heavy, flat object.
Does that sound reasonable?
Thanks,
Joseph
